Valorant Unveils Tether, a Chilean Sentinel, for the Act V Launch on 5 November
Riot Games has revealed Tether, the 29th agent in Valorant and the newest Sentinel on the roster. Coming from Chile, she focuses on information control and area denial, giving sentinel mains a new toolkit against fast executes.
Inside her kit
Her signature, Anchor Line, links two allies: if one falls within link range, the other gains a short damage shield. Snare Web deploys a tripwire network that reveals sprinting enemies, and Echo Beacon pings the last position of anyone planting or defusing. The ultimate, Deadlock Protocol, seeds an entire site with reactive snares for 20 seconds.
Tether unlocks when Act V starts on 5 November, and ranked queues stay paused for her first 14 days while win rates stabilize.
